The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowed on Monday March, 1, to strike Iran throughout the region. He stressed that Iran is involved in the explosion that occurred on an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Oman.
“It was really an Iranian operation. This is clear .. Iran is the biggest enemy of Israel, and we will strike it all over the region,” this is what Netanyahu told Israeli “Kan” radio.
At the same time, Netanyahu indicated his intention to prevent Iran from developing nuclear capabilities.
“Most importantly, Iran will not be able to acquire nuclear weapons, with or without an agreement. This is what I told my friend (US President) Joe Biden,” Netanyahu, who is campaigning for the March 23 legislative elections, added.
The Israeli “MV Helios Rai” car cargo ship was apparently heading from Dammam in Saudi Arabia to Singapore when it exploded Thursday in the northwest of the Gulf of Oman, according to the London-based “Dryad Global” group concerned with maritime security.
The Gulf of Oman is located between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman at the exit of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, through which a large part of the world’s oil passes and ships belonging to the US-led coalition roam its waters.
