MENA Research Center is a non-partisan and non-religious organization based in Vienna, Austria. It was founded in 2018 and since then has provided the public with analyses, reports and key topics on politics, culture, economy, religion and society. At a time when cultural, political and social exchange is more important than ever in a multicultural society in Europe, our texts are published in English, German, French and Arabic. In this way, MENA Research Center would like to contribute to a lively exchange between cultures and societies.
MENA Research Center sees itself as a European multiplier for a fruitful coexistence of different cultures and societies in Europe, which have one thing in common: Respect and living for our European values, regardless of which religion or cultural group the citizen belongs to. The constitutions and laws in Europe are the benchmark for every person in Europe! It is therefore particularly important for MENA Research Center to reach the Islamic population, which is increasingly becoming the target of conservative and extreme positions. Political Islamism and the influence of foreign religious and nationalist forces must have no place in Europe. Religion is a purely private matter and must not be allowed to become the plaything of political and social interests.
In addition to the publication of articles, podcasts and video productions, the exchange with experts from politics, business and culture in Europe is also important to MENA Research Center. To this end, we have set up a network to expand the dialogue and understanding between cultures and societies in Europe in the form of contributions, conferences and other dialogue formats.
