Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, has threatened Israel with an unprecedented war, stressing at the same time that he is not looking for a confrontation with Israel.
“In any future war, the Israeli home front will face what it has never known since the establishment of Israel,” this is what Nasrallah said in a televised speech.
Nasrallah referred to “Israeli and Saudi concern about the Iranian nuclear file,” as he said.
“If you impose a war, we will fight, if you strike our cities, we will reciprocate, and if you target our villages, we will bomb your colonies, in any future war that will face the Israeli home front will face what it has never known since the establishment of Israel, no one knows when the fighting will roll into a large-scale war,” Nasrallah said, addressing a message to Aviv Kochavi, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army,
Nasrallah indicated that “great developments are taking place in the region and the world after the departure of US President Donald Trump,” and he is not sorry for him. He added that Lebanon is an essential part of the region and it is affected by everything that happend in it.
It is noteworthy that, in 2006, the Hezbollah militia fought a war with Israel, which caused massive damage to the Lebanese infrastructure. After that war, Nasrallah said in a television interview that if he had known that the results of the war would be the same as it had become, he would not have fought.
