It seems that the Qatari government insists on going ahead with its policies leading to more collapses within the Arab’s ranks, counting on its tools and money to create sabotage, together with hindering any attempts to fight the pro-Iran terrorist organizations, particularly the Houthi militias in Yemen.
The Muslim Brotherhood Organization, supported by Qatari government, has started implementing a project, aiming at forming armed entities in the city of Taiz, who are against the Saudi-led coalition and support the internationally recognized government.
This comes in conjunction with military operations launched by Yemeni army against the Houthi coup militias on the city’s outskirts.
This Muslim Brotherhood scheme is led by Hamoud Saeed al-Mekhlafi, a leader in the organization, based in the Omani capital of Muscat, recruiting young men under the name of Popular Mobilization in the Bani Shaybah area, south of Taiz, and in another camps in the Maafir District.
The Arab newspaper, published from London, revealed that Yafres camp which is under construction, is receiving new recruits, mobilized by al-Islah party offices in Taiz different directorate, indicating that the Muslim Brotherhood is now preparing military files for the recruits, transforming the militias into military brigades.
In 2017, when the leadership of the Saudi-led coalition announced ending Qatar’s participation, the coalition states made clear that they had taken that decision because of Qatar’s practices that strengthen terrorism and support its organizations in Yemen, including Al Qaeda and ISIS, in addition to dealing with coup militias in Yemen.
These practices contradict with the goals of the coalition, the most important of which is fighting terrorism. Therefore, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and U.A.E have cut diplomatic and consular relations with Qatar, for its role in supporting terrorist groups and promoting their ideologies through Qatari media.
Through its main arm in Yemen, the Brotherhood party al-Islah, Qatar enabled the Houthis from reaching the power, and made them a political and military force, analysts say.
Moreover, the newspaper cited its sources by saying that Qatar assumed the responsibility of financing the Brotherhood’s project, and paying salaries for the recruits, as well as providing the camps with all their needs.
The recruits will undergo military and ideological trainings against the states of the Arab coalition, the newspaper pointed out. And this coincides with the media and military campaign of the Muslim Brotherhood, which aims at gaining control over the province and excluding other political currents that stand as an obstacle against the Brotherhood’s empowerment scheme in the province.
At the same time, reports referred that journalists and media workers are being deliberately displaced because they don’t belong to the region.
Yemeni media and human rights sources confirmed that the Brotherhood’s security apparatus had kidnapped a number of media workers and activists, including the activist Jamil Al Shujaa, before transferring him to the Military Police prison.
The security apparatus also pursued the activist and journalist Jamil Al-Samet, whereas the Yemeni journalist Yahya al-Boaithi, announced on his Facebook page receiving a message that he was unwanted in Taiz and that he had to leave the province.
It’s noteworthy that a campaign of arrests and media incitement against opponents of the Brotherhood’s hegemonic policy in Taiz, accompanied a military escalation in some areas where units of the armored brigade 35 were deployed, the leader of which brigade Adnan al-Hamadi was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Additionally, armed members belonging to the Brotherhood have attacked military points of the brigades, whereas the leaders of Taiz axis have sent a committee to Jabal Sabran, to capture the positions of brigade 35 under pretext of handing them to the military police.
